This is an introductory course for health care professionals interested in the field of aesthetics. This course will cover a broad introduction to medical aesthetics, considerations to starting your own practice, a review of age related facial changes as well as cosmetic treatment options.
As part of the course, we review utilization of all FDA approved brands, including BOTOX®, Dysport®, Jeuveau® and Xeomin®. We will provide a comprehensive review of anatomy and physiology, indications and contraindications for treatment, as well as guidelines for safe, evidence-based practice. We discuss and demonstrate safe dosing and injection techniques for treatment of the upper face. Last, there will be live demos on both chemical peels as well as neuromodulator consultation and treatment.
This course emphasizes facial anatomy, patient safety, and application techniques that prepare you for real-world clinical work.
